Dementia Specialty Care

This course will allow you to discover how different types of dementia affect the elderly within the long-term care population and how to best care for this population. You will be required to pass a written examination to receive credit for this course.

Mental Health Specialty Care

This course will allow you to discover how different types of mental health disorders exist within the long-term care population and how to best care for this population. You will be required to pass a written examination to receive credit for this course.

Adult Education

This course provides an opportunity for growth and learning those who educate adults. If you are new to your Community Instructor role, use this opportunity to learn from more experienced peers. If you are a seasoned Instructor, continue to strive for excellence for yourself, learn new educational tools and make yourself available to mentor new instructors.

3 Hours

Nurse Delegation

This training Course is for Washington State caregivers who work in, or will work in, community-based long-term care settings, adult family homes, homes, and assisted living locations who are CNA, HCA or eligible NAR. This course is required before accepting nursing delegated tasks by a delegating RN. You will be required to pass a written examination.

Nurse Delegation: Diabetes

This training Course is for Washington State caregivers who work in, or will work in, community-based long-term care settings, adult family homes, homes, and assisted living locations who are CNA, HCA or eligible NAR. This course is required before accepting nursing delegated tasks by a delegating RN. You will be required to pass a written examination.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

This full day class will allow you to discover how traumatic brain injuries affect individuals within the long-term care population and how to best care for this population. You will be required to pass a written examination to receive credit for this course.
